Couponing
Before you get alarmed, I am not an extreme couponer. I am not like the people on the television show that buy carts and carts full of groceries for $5. Besides, my lifestyle does not need for me to stockpile on such a great scale. I do however enjoy getting items for free and at a reduced cost. Freebies in the mail are the best part of my day. There is nothing like coming home to a mailbox stuffed with free magazine subscriptions, free samples, and more coupons! The holidays are an even better time to purchase gifts without paying full price. I will occasionally post deals that I think are exceptional, but I will not focus much time on posting coupon deals. There are so many people who do such a great job talking about couponing and frugal living that I will not insult them by trying to recreate the wheel. Below are my favorite sites to visit to learn about the best deals around. Be sure to check out my friend Sara's website, Fake It Till You Make It, where she outlines tips for frugal living and and doles out solid career advice.
Hip 2 Save - This is the first website I visit after coming home from work every day. I must admit it is slightly addictive! Collin posts great freebies and sweepstakes as well as discounted deals. She even has her own sweepstakes that you can enter! You will thank me later.
Fake It Till You Make It - In need of some good career advice or tips on how to stay within your budget? Looking to find a job before relocating to a new state? Check out this blog written by my friend Sara for information on all of the above.
Free Stuff Times was my first official start at couponing! Check them out and make sure you check for free movie passes.
Krazy Coupon Lady - Did you know that military families can use coupons after they have expired? Check out how you can send your expired coupons overseas to support our military families. I often send unexpired coupons as well for items I typically don't use. Remember, sharing is caring! In addition, this site also breaks down the best sales by each individual store.
I Heart CVS - All deals related to CVS. Be sure to take advantage of the freebies when they are available! The author of this blog also writes I Heart Rite Aid and I Heart Walgreens.
I'm just getting into Nikki's Freebie Jeebies. Check them out on Facebook for a chance to win a gift card!
